  • Smoking and Alcohol: For everyone’s comfort and safety, smoking and drinking alcohol are not allowed inside the vehicle during the tour.

For safety reasons, it is not recommended for pregnant women, individuals with back or neck problems, those with serious medical conditions, or anyone with heart-related concerns. Guests with limited mobility or prone to motion sickness are also advised to consider alternative experiences that are more relaxed.

  • Child Safety: In line with UAE law, children under 3 years old must use a child safety seat. The tour operator will provide one for your convenience.
  • Clothing Advice: Desert temperatures can vary, especially during the winter months (October to March). We recommend wearing warm yet breathable clothing for a comfortable experience. Light jackets and closed shoes are ideal.
  • Child Supervision: While the desert camp is family-friendly, children must remain under the supervision of a parent or guardian at all times for their safety.

  • Booking Policy – Desert Heritage Abu Dhabi: Please read our booking policy carefully before confirming your tour. This policy applies to all Desert Heritage Abu Dhabi tours and activities.
  • Reservation & Payment: All bookings must be confirmed through our online form or WhatsApp. A full or partial payment may be required depending on the tour package. We accept card payments. Note: 5% VAT and 5% bank/processing charges apply to all card transactions.
  • Group Size & Private Bookings: Private tours (City Tours, Private Safari, etc.) are valid for the maximum number of persons listed in each package (example: 1–6 pax). Additional guests beyond the listed capacity must be approved in advance and may incur extra charges.
  • Cancellation & Refund Policy:
  • • 48 hours or more before tour: Full refund minus any card or bank charges.
  • • 24–48 hours before tour: 50% refund.
  • • Less than 24 hours or no-show: No refund.
  • Rescheduling: You may reschedule up to 24 hours before your tour start time without penalty (subject to availability). Rescheduling within 24 hours may incur a fee or be allowed only under exceptional circumstances (such as weather issues).
  • Health & Safety Requirements: Guests must meet any health and safety requirements listed on the tour page. Pregnant guests or those with heart conditions, injuries, or similar concerns should inform us before booking. Children under 3 years old must use a child safety seat (please request in advance). Clothing and footwear should be suitable for the activities and weather conditions.
  • Pick-Up & Drop-Off: Packages include pick-up and drop-off from your confirmed location. Please provide your address clearly during booking. Be ready 10 minutes before the scheduled pick-up time. Late arrival from your side may reduce the tour duration but will not affect the price.
  • Weather & Operational Changes: Tours are weather-dependent. In case of severe weather or unsafe conditions, Desert Heritage Abu Dhabi may postpone or modify the itinerary. In case of major changes (cancellation or significant route changes), you will be notified and offered a full refund or an alternative date.
  • Usage of Images & Media:
  • Photos or videos may be taken during the tour for promotional use. If you prefer not to appear in any promotional media, please inform your guide at the start of the tour.
  • Liability: Desert Heritage Abu Dhabi is not responsible for personal items lost during the tour. All adventurous activities (like dune bashing) are done at the guest’s own risk; please follow all safety instructions provided by the staff.
